History of Maggiano’s
Chicago-based restaurant company Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises partner Rich Melman opened the first Maggiano’s Little Italy location in 1991 in Chicago. The concept was well-received and in just three years two more locations was opened across Illinois.
In 1994 the year 1994, Maggiano’s Little Italy location was opened in Virginia. In 1995 Maggiano’s Little Italy concept was purchased by Brinker International, a global hospitality firm. Today, with more than 50 locations Maggiano’s Little Italy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brinker International with its headquarters located in Dallas, Texas.
